Southwestern Kitchen - Desert Museum Store

Deserts are often perceived as dry, brown, lifeless places.  If you have visited the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum, then you know that the Sonoran Desert is full of color and life.  The majority of plants found in our surrounding areas have been cultivated for centuries for the benefit of desert dwellers.  From mesquite flour to prickly pear cactus syrup, the Sonoran Desert has plenty of unique and edible plants to experiement with.

In our Southwestern Kitchen we have included some of our favorite foods of the Sonoran Desert as well as cookbooks that utilize the fruits of the desert.  You'll also find a great selection of tableware to accompany your culinary creations. (KY)
