- Price : $300.00
This intricate carving of an Antelope-Man by Navajo folk-artist Berlin Lansing stands 11 3/4 inches high, 3 inches wide at the shoulders and about 2 1/2 inches from front to back.
Antelope-Person Carving: Berlin Lansing
Berlin is the best Navajo carver doing folk-art today. This male figure of an antelope-person is just marvelous. He is wearing Kiabab moccasins, black pants, a purple shirt and, like all of Berlin’s animal-people, a jaw-claw necklace that is meant to imitate turquoise. Antelope-man has a Navajo blanket wrapped around him, as one would wear a chief blanket. Note: his antlers are removable for easier shipping.
