Braided Leather Bracelet with Silver and Turquoise Buckle: Dennis Hogan

This unique bracelet is one of my favorite pieces that we have.  I have been eying it for months and I keep hoping that if I try it on enough, someone will buy it for me.   Dennis Hogan uses ancient Navajo silver-smithing techniques to achieve a feeling of timelessness.  His often painstaking efforts reward wearers with one-of-a-kind pieces of jewelry.  To make this classy bracelet, Dennis tanned, cut, and braided the elk hide and then pounded, shaped, and stamped each piece of silver by hand.  Each minute piece of turquoise was then added with a bezel.  If you are looking for a priceless piece that you won't find anywhere else, this certainly qualifies.
