Diane Lewis Garcia: Black-on-White Bird Seed Jar

This wide, low-shouldered seed jar by Diane is a wonderful example of her eye-dazzling technique of black-on-white flower designs with a splash of color in the center of an Acoma parrot painted rust, green and orange. Diane can sign her name a number of different ways, but the one constant element in her signature is the tiny fish symbol painted on the bottom of each piece. This is one of the best examples of her work we have seen in a long time.
