This is one of the best small bear Kachinas we have seen in a long time. Vernon Parker’s painting and carving are carefully executed; however what is most remarkable is the expressive character of the piece as a whole. It appears as if the Kachina is half-man and half-bear. This Kachina is just beautiful.
