Preston Duwyenie Hopi Pottery Collection

The plate and seed pot are both 4.5” in diameter, with a 2” depth and .375” opening on the seed pot.  The bottle is 2.5” in diameter, 4” high and has a 1” base.

Hand cast sterling silver shifting sands accents embellish the polished micacious clay pottery in red and black, as well as the peach colored clay with a rippled matte finish.  This collection is a good sampling of this artist’s range of form and materials. Duwyenie's graceful shapes and textures in his distinctive ceramic colors set his work apart from traditional Hopi pottery.  He is considered conservative due to his commitment to style and materials.

Each piece has Duwyenie’s hallmark stamped on the bottom.   Acrylic display stands are included as shown.
